I had a fantastic stay at this cottage. The views from the front were breathtaking, and I loved waking up to them. The kitchen was well-equipped and spacious, perfect for cooking meals. The wood-burning stove in the lounge created a cozy atmosphere, especially when playing board games and reading books. The furniture throughout the cottage was unique and of top quality. The bedrooms were large and comfortable, with high-quality linen and a fantastic shower in the bathroom. The cottage also had a lovely garden. The location was ideal for exploring the surrounding areas, with easy access to east and west. I highly recommend this place.
All was good.

The bathroom was just what I needed after a long day exploring. It had a lovely bath that was perfect for relaxing in and soaking away all the stress. As a light sleeper, the peaceful surroundings at Rowan Cottage were a dream come true!
Personally, I found the bathroom a bit small, but that's just my opinion.

I had such a great time staying at Rowan Cottage, Crannachcottages! The location is perfect for outdoor activities, with amazing walks right from the front door. The cottage itself is spacious and well-furnished, with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The views from the main bedroom are breathtaking, and the peacefulness of the location in the woods is just what I needed. The owners were always available for help or advice, and the sustainable heating system was a plus. I highly recommend this cottage for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.
The small fridge, which made it a bit challenging to store enough food for a remote location. However, it wasn't a major issue for our short stay.

Private parking onsite - finally a place where I don't have to fight for a parking spot! The garden and free private parking were a nice touch. Cons: Mosquitoes in the front garden - perfect for those who enjoy being feasted on by blood-sucking insects.
